As a Porter/Houseperson, you will:

  • Work side-by-side our Housekeeping teams to ensure a sparkling facility
  • Address guest clean concerns and respond for resolution
  • Be responsible for cleaning corridors, guest areas, parking lots and service areas
  • Coordinate with our Maintenance team for repairs
  • Stock supply closets
  • Assist Housekeepers and the Front Desk in guest requests and deliveries
  • Clean and tidy our restrooms

Essential Elements 

The cleanliness of our facilities is of the utmost importance at our hotels. It takes a team of dedicated individuals to accomplish this every day, and as the Porter/Houseperson you are a huge part of our clean team. Successful individuals in this role have strong teamwork abilities.

Minimum Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent is preferred. Must have knowledge of housekeeping and cleaning techniques. At least one year of hotel experience is a plus.

Physical:

Must be capable of lifting up to 35 pounds. Must be capable of constant walking, lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling. Must be able to work with cleaning products regularly.
