Primary Function: Provide leadership and guidance to Front Desk staff during the assigned shift to ensure consistent quality service is provided.

 

As a Front Desk Supervisor, you will

  • Manage and motivate your entire front desk team communicating daily objectives to ensure overall guest enjoyment
  • Oversee and communicate daily sales strategies for more "heads in beds"  
  • Take communication to the next level, providing clear direction to your team and unparalleled service to your guests
  • Be a communication guru between guests and staff
  • Inspire staff to develop skills in hospitality.

 

Essential Elements

As this position requires considerable knowledge of computer systems, mathematical comprehension and thorough organization, the ideal candidate holds a two-year college degree and a minimum of two years' experience as an assistant or front office manager. We also prefer a candidate who is CPR and/or First Aid certified. Safety first! 

We are all a team at Biltmore Farms Hotels and together we each work as one to welcome our guests like family. As a leader, you will be asked to manage and motivate your team, while also assisting in basic front desk duties. Working as a team will be key to your success. Also, this position will require tact, diplomacy to defuse anger and conflict resolution. As William Langland once said "patience is a virtue."
